What is GSC Analytics Suite? +

GSC Analytics Suite is a Google Sheets add-on that connects to your Google Search Console account and pulls your SEO data directly into Sheets. It provides dashboards, opportunity scoring, content decay detection, traffic trend analysis, Google update tracking, and technical SEO monitoring — all without writing a single line of code.

Does this work with any Google Sheets account? +

Yes. GSC Analytics Suite works on both personal Google accounts and Google Workspace accounts. You install it from the Google Workspace Marketplace and it runs directly inside any spreadsheet you own.

How do I install the add-on? +

Open any Google Sheets spreadsheet, click Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons and search for GSC Analytics Suite. Click Install. You'll be prompted to authorise access to your Search Console data via Google's standard OAuth flow — no passwords are shared with us.

Do I need to know how to code? +

No coding required. All features are accessible through menus and dialogs inside Google Sheets. The add-on handles all data fetching, processing, and chart creation automatically.

How does it connect to Google Search Console? +

The add-on uses the official Google Search Console API with Google's built-in OAuth authentication. You authorise it once with your Google account and it reads the data you already have access to in GSC — no third-party credentials needed.

Features

Can I use it for multiple websites? +

Yes. Create a separate spreadsheet for each property you manage in GSC. Agency plans include bulk management features for handling multiple client accounts from a single view.

How often does data update? +

You refresh data on demand by running a sync from inside the add-on. GSC itself has a data lag of 2–3 days, so the freshest available data is always the last 48–72 hours. Professional and Agency plans can schedule automatic daily refreshes.

What is the Opportunity Score? +

A 0–100 metric calculated for every page using six signals: total impressions, average position, CTR gap versus benchmark, momentum (recent traffic trend), keyword cannibalization risk, and brand vs non-brand traffic ratio. Higher scores mean more untapped SEO potential. See the Opportunity Score page for full details.

How does Content Decay detection work? +

Content Decay compares rolling traffic windows across multiple periods for every page on your site. Pages showing a sustained downward trend — after accounting for seasonality — receive a decay severity score. You can filter by severity, category, and date range to prioritise which content needs refreshing.

Can I track the impact of Google algorithm updates? +

Yes. The Google Updates feature overlays your GSC traffic against the dates of every major algorithm update — Core Updates, Helpful Content, Spam Updates, and more — and calculates the before/after traffic delta so you can see exactly which updates affected you.

What is included in the free Starter plan? +

The Starter plan is permanently free and includes the Performance Dashboard, basic Traffic Trends, and manual data syncs for one GSC property. Advanced features — Opportunity Score, Content Decay, Google Update tracking, and Technical SEO monitoring — require a Professional or Agency plan.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan? +

Yes, at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Downgrading restricts access to features above your new plan tier, but your data and spreadsheets are never deleted.

Do you offer refunds? +

Is there an annual billing option? +

Annual billing is available for Professional and Agency plans and includes two months free compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual from your account settings at any time.

Privacy & Data

Is my data safe? +

All your Search Console data stays within your Google account. The add-on reads from GSC via the API and writes into your Sheets — nothing is stored on external servers. We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What data does the add-on access? +

The add-on requests read-only access to your Google Search Console data (clicks, impressions, CTR, position, queries, and pages) and write access to Google Sheets to record that data. It does not access your email, contacts, Google Drive files, or any other Google service.

Does GSC Analytics Suite store my Search Console data? +

No. Your Search Console data is fetched on demand and written directly into your Google Sheets spreadsheet. We do not store, copy, or transmit your GSC data to any external server. The data lives entirely within your Google account.
